Hello and welcome.
I wanted to start the story of this blog with a personal one.
When I was 18 years old, living in France, I was on my way to play professional Rugby. High-level sports was my priority and its training involved was my everyday focus until one day. I was badly injured — as it happens many times with players of this game. — This sudden stop in time allowed me to think about my future, and then it clicked. I dropped out of professional spot and decided to concentrate on studying. Quickly I secured a master in biology and neuroscience. Then another Master in Cognitive Science and a PhD about Sleep and Cognitive process shortly followed.
I became a doctor in biopsychology, a specialist in how your biology influences your psychology.
Highly knowledgeable in my field, I also worked since then within a sleep medical network, giving conferences, helping people and councelling them about cognitive psychology for more than 10 years now.
More precisely, I have developed programs about sleep and how to adjust your recovery process to your specific needs. From high-level sports athletes, to common insomnia of everyday workers, and jet-lag issues, as well as helping and individual’s desire for greater efficency for them and/or their employees.
I have designed biopsychological processes that will help you to fix problems such as rhythm, and improve your quality of life, just by having better sleep.
The current context of the year 2020 has prompted me to increase my focus on my skills for which I have studied so hard. And it’s the sense of being part of a team that forged my decision to create a company with the values of humility, respect, and above all team spirit. I am still close to professional players in sports. Evolving from being a player to someone who understands their problems, emphasise with their situation, and find solutions for them.
And those values I will also share with you; individuals, companies, groups; professionals. I have the strong belief that sleep-deprivation is one of the biggest problem we are facing today, and will dedicate this company to help you how to find solutions to retrieve it.
In these blogs articles, I will share with you insights and recent data that will explain more about the recent discoveries made in biopsychology, and how this can affect positively your sleeping rhythms.
Let’s start making our nights better now.
Dr. Paul Rochon.
